Nagpur, 24th: In light of the current international scenario, numerous significant opportunities are set to emerge within the manufacturing and logistics sectors. However, whenever opportunities arise, new challenges inevitably present themselves alongside them. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asserted here today that the cost associated with logistics currently stands as the greatest challenge facing the manufacturing sector; therefore, if we aspire to become an effective component of the global supply chain, it is absolutely imperative that we become globally competitive.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the 'Godam Logistics Park,' established at Gondkhairi by Godam Logistics Private Limited. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, along with MLAs Dr. Ashish Deshmukh and Parinay Fuke, Directors of Godam Logistics Pvt. Ltd.—Mahavir Jain, K.K. Gupta, Rajan Agarwal, Jaiprakash Gupta, and Krishnakumar Gupta—and other dignitaries, including Shivkisan Agarwal of Haldiram's, were present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister further remarked that industries are now being attracted on a large scale to the Nagpur and Gadchiroli regions. Consequently, substantial opportunities are poised to become available within the logistics sector. Given the current situation, there appears to be ample scope for further significant expansion and enhancement of logistics infrastructure. Electric Vehicles Will Reduce Logistics Costs

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari expressed confidence that the widespread adoption of electric vehicles in freight transport would not only result in fuel cost savings but also benefit the environment, thereby effectively reducing overall logistics costs.
In his introductory remarks, Director Mahavir Jain provided details regarding the Warehouse Logistics Park. Rajan Agarwal proposed the vote of thanks.
**About the Park**
Meanwhile, this facility—one of Central India's largest integrated industrial logistics parks—has been developed across an expansive 105-acre site, featuring a massive 2.5 million square feet of high-quality 'Grade A' warehousing capacity. The project incorporates state-of-the-art smart warehousing facilities powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through this initiative, approximately 15,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities are expected to be generated. This significant logistics project is strategically connected to both National Highway 44 and the Samruddhi Expressway. An investment of approximately ?600 crore has been made in this project, which also includes the integration of a solar power plant.
