After the accident, enraged villagers caught the accused and handed him over to the police, but he escaped from police custody. Near the Jotai Road bypass intersection, four people, including a young boy, were sitting around a bonfire to protect themselves from the cold. At night, a speeding car hit them forcefully. The car is said to have been driven by BJP leader Deependra Bhadauria. The impact of the accident was so severe that all five people were seriously injured. One of them is a minor boy, whose condition is extremely critical.
Current condition of the injured:
The injured were initially admitted to a local hospital in Porsa. However, due to their unstable condition, they were shifted to the Morena District Hospital. Two of the injured, including a boy named Arnav, have been shifted to a hospital in Gwalior. Medical officials said that the condition of three of the injured is still serious and they are undergoing continuous treatment.
After the accident, passersby and local villagers immediately provided assistance. The angry relatives caught the accused and took him to the Porsa police station. However, Deependra Bhadauria escaped from there, evading the police. Following this, relatives and villagers protested, accusing the police of laxity in their actions. Police officials said that investigation teams have been dispatched to search for the accused and he will be apprehended soon.

"We are ordinary people, but we will fight to get justice," said a relative of one of the injured.
