"Some people had complained against me to the Income Tax Department, according to which I have received a notice. I will give a proper reply to this. I have no information about Shrikant Shinde receiving a notice," Shirsat later clarified.

Apart from this, Shirsat is also in the news due to allegations related to the auction process of the Whits Hotel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
