Income Tax Notice to Shrikant Shinde? Sanjay Shirsat's Disclosure and Controversy

Shinde group minister and Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat, while speaking at a public event, claimed that the Income Tax Department had sent a notice to Kalyan MP Shrikant Shinde. However, due to the uproar that arose after this statement, Shirsat has given a clarification on this by making a controversies.
Sanjay Shirsat initially said in a program that the Income Tax Department had sent a notice to him and Shrikant Shinde. While talking to the media in this regard, he said that the Income Tax Department checks everyone and it is necessary to respond to this notice. He mentioned that he was asked to respond by July 9, but he has asked for more time.
However, after this statement by Shirsat, discussions flared up in political circles. In particular, this notice began to be linked to Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's visit to Delhi. After this, Shirsat hastily clarified that he had not made any statement regarding the notice received by Shrikant Shinde. He also appealed to the media not to spread misleading information.
"Some people had complained against me to the Income Tax Department, according to which I have received a notice. I will give a proper reply to this. I have no information about Shrikant Shinde receiving a notice," Shirsat later clarified.
Due to this matter, the opposition has raised question marks on the leaders of the Shinde group and especially Sanjay Shirsat. Apart from this, Shirsat is also in the news due to allegations related to the auction process of the Whits Hotel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The opposition parties have accused Shirsat's family of irregularities in this matter, due to which Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a high-level inquiry.
Due to all these developments, tension has once again arisen in Maharashtra politics. Everyone's attention is now on the Income Tax Department's further action regarding Shirsat's explanation and the truthfulness of Shrikant Shinde's claim that there was no notice.
