Citizens across Afghanistan have found themselves in dire straits following recent severe floods and earthquakes. Taking cognizance of this situation, India has dispatched a consignment of essential daily-use items, along with critical health-related medical supplies, for the affected population in the region.
While dispatching this aid, Randhir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for India's Ministry of External Affairs, shared relevant photographs on social media. He stated, "India has dispatched HADR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief) supplies to assist the Afghan people during the difficult times they are facing due to recent floods and earthquakes. This consignment includes kitchen sets, hygiene kits, plastic sheets, tarpaulins, sleeping bags, and other essential items."
