India Extends Relief to Afghanistan Amidst Flood and Earthquake Crises; Sends Cooking Supplies, Hygiene Kits, and Tents

New Delhi: Demonstrating its humanitarian spirit once again, India has extended a helping hand to the people of Afghanistan. Citizens across Afghanistan have found themselves in dire straits following recent severe floods and earthquakes. Taking cognizance of this situation, India has dispatched a consignment of essential daily-use items, along with critical health-related medical supplies, for the affected population in the region.
While dispatching this aid, Randhir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for India's Ministry of External Affairs, shared relevant photographs on social media. He stated, "India has dispatched HADR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief) supplies to assist the Afghan people during the difficult times they are facing due to recent floods and earthquakes. This consignment includes kitchen sets, hygiene kits, plastic sheets, tarpaulins, sleeping bags, and other essential items."
Through this assistance, India aims to provide immediate relief to the affected people in Afghanistan and help them address their hygiene and daily subsistence needs. This initiative clearly underscores India's solidarity with the Afghan people and signals its readiness to continue providing assistance as and when required in the future.
