Indian Air Force dropped 'hospital' in the air!

-200 people can be treated simultaneously

New Delhi. The Indian Air Force airdropped the portable hospital 'Bhishma' from a ship in Agra on Wednesday. This is the first such test of its kind, in which the Air Force dropped hospital cubes from a ship. These portable hospitals can be very useful in emergency situations and can be airdropped from a ship and used anywhere.

Project Bhishma
Project Bhishma, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been jointly developed by the Health Ministry, Defense Ministry and National Security Council. The BHISHMA project (Battlefield Health Information System for Medical Services) has been designed for rapid deployment not only in India but also abroad in times of natural disasters, humanitarian crises or in times of peace and war. So that Bhishma Portable Hospitals can be used to provide immediate medical aid during this period.

Mobile Cube Hospital
According to Air Force sources, 200 people can be treated in this mobile cube hospital. These modular medical units are designed for rapid deployment to remote or disaster-stricken areas, helping to provide medical assistance even in challenging environments. At the same time, by successfully airdropping Bhishma in Agra, the Air Force has proved that it can rapidly deploy medical resources in needy areas during an emergency humanitarian crisis.

All types of medical facilities
Sources said that Bhishma Portable Hospital Cubes have all types of medical facilities. Also, they have been designed in such a way that they can be easily transported by air, land and sea. Each cube contains surgical facilities, diagnostic tools and patient care facilities. These portable hospital cubes have been developed and tested jointly by the Indian Air Force, Indian Health Service Institutions and defense technology experts.

These cubes are ready in just 12 minutes. It consists of two sets of Master Cube cages, each holding 36 mini cubes. These cubes are extremely strong, waterproof and extremely light. Each mini-cube is carefully packed within the master cage to prevent any problems from opening. It can also be used again. This project was also recently presented before the dignitaries from various countries at the G20 Summit and was highly appreciated.
