Due to rising tensions in the Middle East, Iran has launched 'Operation Fatah-e-Khaibar' in response to the attacks by the US and Israel.
The conflict between Iran and Israel has now reached a new height. In response to the attacks by the US and Israel, Iran launched a military operation called 'Fatah-e-Khaibar'. Under this operation, Iran has launched missile attacks on major cities in Israel, and a nationwide state of emergency has been imposed in Israel. Iran's Revolutionary Guards have clearly stated that this is just the beginning and that the US and Israel will regret this act.
What is the historical meaning of 'Fatah-e-Khaibar'?
The name of this operation is very symbolic. The Arabic word 'Fatah' means 'victory'. In the 7th century, a battle was fought at the impregnable fortress of 'Khaibar' near Medina in Saudi Arabia. This battle was fought between the Jewish and Muslim communities. Hazrat Ali, the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad, won by breaking down the iron gates of Khaibar. Since Iran is a Shia-majority country, Hazrat Ali is their Imam. Therefore, Iran named this operation against Israel as the 'Victory of Khaibar'.
Israel's 'Lions Roar' Response
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched 'Operation Lions Roar' to deal with Iranian attacks. This is an extension of the 'Rising Lions' operation in June 2025. According to Israel's IDF, its air force is ready to respond strongly to Iranian attacks.
Iran's arsenal: 2000 missiles and deadly drones
According to a US intelligence report, Iran has a stockpile of more than 2000 missiles. In addition, a deal has been signed with China for CM-300 missiles. Iran has deadly drones like the 'Shaheed Drone', which are likely to be used in this war.
There is concern around the world that this conflict is now taking the form of a global war. Due to Iran's aggressive stance, everyone is watching the US response.
