It is mandatory to register the license number on the payments

Nagpur, Dec 10: Food commercial hotels, restaurants, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers in the district are required to affix a 14-digit food license or registration number on sales payments made to customers and establishments. In this regard, the implementation has started from January 1, 2022 and the food traders violating these rules will be punished under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006. Q. Deshpande has given.
The fourteen digit food license or registration number on the payment is the identity of the food professional. Licensing or registration is provided by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi. If a customer has a complaint regarding food, the customer can easily get the name and address of the firm from the license or registration number and register it on the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India's website in New Delhi.
Earlier, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi, had made it mandatory to have a license or registration number on the food labels required. But for restaurants, sweet marts, caterers, confectionery, retailers and wholesalers, this rule has been made for them. However, Mr. Deshpande has informed that action is being taken if this rule is not followed.
