A leprosy prevention day and fortnight has been organized on the occasion of the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi through the District Integrated Health and Family Welfare Institute. Marathon runners were divided into three groups namely 15 to 18 years, 19 to 35 years and above 36 years. Men and women were divided into categories for marathon races. The winners were given cash prizes and certificates. 3 thousand rupees were awarded to the first winner, 2 thousand rupees to the second prize, and 1 thousand rupees to the third prize.
