MNREGA Commissioner met the workers directly
Nagpur, Dt. 4: Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, various personal benefit and public works are done at Gram Panchayat level. Currently, more than 38 thousand works are underway in the state under MGNREGA. MNREGA Commissioner Shantanu Goyal, (Bhaprase) paid a surprise visit to some ongoing works under Mhasepathaar and Lohgad Gram Panchayat in Kalameshwar taluka.
During the said visit, the commissioner inspected the work of Mhasepathaar and Lohgad village panchayats on tree planting, paver block, Pandhan road, orchard planting, cattle shed and interacted with the laborers present on the work. On this occasion, he gave information about various works of personal benefit under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA and guided them to take advantage of these works.
On this occasion, Kalameshwar Taluka Group Development Officer Maheshwar Dongre, Mhsepathar Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Sanjay Kubde, Lohgad Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Narendra Dahat and MNREGA local officers and employees were present on this occasion.
