MP sports festival postponed
Nagpur, Dec 26: The MP Sports Festival held in Nagpur has been postponed as per the directions of the government. The decision was taken by the MP Sports Festival Committee in view of the potential risk of corona infection and the safety of the players.
The 4th MP Sports Festival was organized in Nagpur with the concept of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Festival dates have also been announced recently. However, considering the growing risk of corona infection in the state, the government issued new guidelines on Friday, December 24.
In line with this guideline, all the competitions of the MP Sports Festival starting from January 2, 2022 have been postponed, said Sandeep Joshi, Chief Convener of the MP Sports Festival Committee.
