Mahadev Munde murder case: Scientific test report in hand; Search for killers in final stretch!

Beed: It has been two years since the brutal murder of famous businessman Mahadev Munde from Parli city, yet the main accused are still absconding. However, there has been great progress in the investigation of this crime, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) recently receiving the report of narco and brain mapping tests. This report has increased the chances of unraveling the mystery of the murder, and the investigation has now reached a crucial stage.
The SIT, led by IPS officer Pankaj Kumawat, has accelerated the investigation in the last six months. While facing obstacles due to lack of technical evidence, scientific methods were adopted. Narco test of two important witnesses and brain mapping test of one were conducted at the Mumbai Police Hospital. Apart from this, psychological examination of 12 witnesses has also been completed.
Over 200 persons were questioned in person in the expanded scope of the investigation. While the call details of 150 suspects were examined, the information of more than 1500 people was analyzed in depth. All possibilities like financial transactions related to Mahadev Munde, plotting disputes or personal enmity have been examined.
The main suspect in this case, Gotya Gite, is still absconding. Action has been proposed against him under the 'MCOCA' Act. Sources say that if he is caught, the investigation will gain further momentum.
The analysis of these scientific reports received on Friday will be done under the supervision of IPS Pankaj Kumawat. This is expected to clarify the main mastermind of the murder and the reasons behind it. Citizens across the district have drawn attention to this report.
