Mahasangram on JP in Lucknow

Lucknow: Politics is going on in Uttar Pradesh on Jayaprakash Narayan at this time. The road outside the house of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has been sealed by putting up barricades. UP Police has made arrangements to prevent Akhilesh Yadav from coming out of his private residence. There is also heavy police arrangement, but on the other hand hundreds of Samajwadi Party workers have also gathered here, who are trying to break the barricades. Today, 11 October is the birth anniversary of socialist leader Jayaprakash Narayan. Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav reached Jayaprakash Narayan International Center (JPNIC) in Gomti Nagar on Thursday night and accused the government of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of covering the main gate with tin sheets to prevent entry.

The national president of Samajwadi Party had already sent information about the program to the administration, but Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) and Police Commissioner have not allowed Akhilesh Yadav to go to JPNIC. Last year, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had to climb the gate of JPNIC to garland the statue of Jayaprakash Narayan located in the campus. Akhilesh Yadav told the media outside the JP Center on the night of October 10, 'This JPNIC is a museum of socialists, there is a statue of Jayaprakash Narayan here and there are things inside it from which we can understand socialism.' He said, 'What is the government hiding by putting these tin sheets? Is there a possibility that they are preparing to sell it or want to give it to someone?'
