Major Reshuffle of 11 IAS Officers in Maharashtra; New CEOs and Assistant Collectors Appointed in Several Districts, Including Sindhudurg and Yavatmal
Mumbai, September 3, 2026: The State Government today announced the transfers and new appointments of 11 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The reshuffle involves changes to various key positions, including Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Zilla Parishads.
Ravindra Khebudkar, the CEO of Sindhudurg Zilla Parishad, has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency (GSDA) in Pune. He is succeeded by Dr. Apoorva Basur, currently the Project Officer and Assistant Collector at Jawhar, who has been appointed as the CEO of Sindhudurg Zilla Parishad. Gajendra Bavane, the outgoing GSDA Commissioner in Pune, has been transferred to the post of Joint Managing Director of Mahavitaran (MSEDCL) at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Yavatmal Zilla Parishad has also received a new CEO; Vishal Khatri, the Project Officer and Assistant Collector at Dahanu, has been appointed to this position.
Significant transfers have also taken place among the 2024 batch of IAS officers. Donuru Ananya Reddy has been appointed as the Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP) and Assistant Collector of the Dahanu subdivision, while P. K. Siddharth Ramkumar has been appointed as the Project Officer of the ITDP and Assistant Collector of the Jawhar subdivision. Additionally, appointments have been made as follows: Kush Motwani as Assistant Collector of Wardha subdivision; Akash Verma as Assistant Collector of Gondpipri subdivision (Chandrapur district); Nandala Saikiran as Assistant Collector of Bhandara subdivision; Yogesh Kumar Meena as Assistant Collector of Jalgaon subdivision; and Shivansh Singh as Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Project at Aheri (Gadchiroli district) and Assistant Collector of Aheri subdivision.
Official sources stated that these transfer orders were issued today and the concerned officers will soon assume charge of their new posts.
