Major explosion in Kabul, Afghanistan, 12 people including a Taliban government minister killed
Kabul:-A blast has taken place in the Afghan capital Kabul. It is reported that 12 people including the Taliban's exiled minister Khalil Rahman Haqqani and his three bodyguards were killed. The explosion took place on Wednesday in the compound of the exiled ministry in Kabul. In which 12 people were killed. The attack took place while Haqqani was hosting some people coming from Khost. The Taliban government has given information about this incident while talking to 'The Khorasan Diary'.
Great concern is being expressed after an explosion in the ministry premises in the capital Kabul. No information has been revealed yet about who carried out the explosion. Based on the information received, it is believed to be a suicide attack. According to reports, the attacker has also died in the explosion. Many people nearby have also been injured.
Khalil Rehman Haqqani was the uncle of Taliban Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani and a key figure in the Haqqani Network. He was appointed as the acting Minister of Refugees on 7 September 2021 after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in August 2021.
