Mamata Banerjee’s ultimatum to MPs and MLAs who left Trinamool Congress: Return within 15 days or lose your place
Kolkata: Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has given a 15-day deadline for MPs and MLAs who left the party to return.
Addressing party workers and the public via mobile phone at a major rally in North Dinajpur, North Bengal—held for the first time since the Assembly elections—Banerjee spoke to the gathering.
In her message, she said, "Many of the MLAs and MPs whom we helped win elections are traitors. There is no place for them here... We will return (to power). You are the true Trinamool. If the MLAs and MPs who left us return within 15 days, it is fine; otherwise, there will be no room for them here."
