The hunger strike started by Bandu Dhotre for the protection of Ramala Lake was reversed for eight days on Monday. However, as the administration did not take notice, 25 people rallied in support of the agitation.
Throughout the day on Monday, various organizations, associations and political office bearers in the city visited and expressed their support. Discussed with Bangu Dhotre regarding water pollution in Ramala Lake and demands made by Eco Pro. Echo Pro's Nitin Buradkar, Dharmendra Lunawat, Sanjay Sabbanwar, Haridas Koram and others shaved their heads in the self-torture mass shaving movement along with Bandu Dhotre.
