Sources also said that the third party in the Mahayuti alliance, Ajit Pawar-led NCP can get 9 seats in the cabinet. There can be a maximum of 43 ministers in Maharashtra including the Chief Minister. BJP will keep half the seats with itself.
Urban Development, Public Works Department and Water Resources...these three ministries can go to Eknath Shinde faction. The new Chief Minister will be from BJP and two Deputy Chief Ministers can be from Shiv Sena and NCP. Sources have said that Ajit Pawar has told his party leaders that the swearing-in ceremony can be held this weekend.
