Meeting chaired by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule regarding bush forest
Nagpur, Date 21: In the backdrop of the recent Supreme Court verdict regarding bush forest, a meeting of the Nagpur division's District Collectors along with Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidri was held at the Divisional Commissioner's Office today under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule to get information about the condition of the land under bush forest.
Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidri made a presentation on this occasion and gave detailed information about bush forest. After knowing all the information, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule gave important instructions to follow the Supreme Court's instructions and take prompt action to ensure that encroachment on bush forest land is regulated in the coming days.
Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Central Officer Naresh Jurmure, District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, Additional Commissioner of Revenue Rajesh Khavale of the Divisional Commissionerate and senior officers were present on this occasion. The District Collectors of Wardha, Chandrapur, Gondia, Bhandara and Gadchiroli attended the meeting via video conferencing.
