Modi launches scathing attack on DMK in Tamil Nadu: Accuses them of supporting corrupt elements and mafias
Maduranthakam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed at a rally on Friday that the people of Tamil Nadu have firmly resolved to defeat the ruling DMK government. He strongly criticized the government, accusing it of promoting corruption, mafias, and crime.
The Prime Minister launched his election campaign for the upcoming assembly elections with this rally. Leaders and workers from AIADMK, AMMK, PMK (Vanniyar group), and other constituent parties of the NDA were present in large numbers at the event. Modi said, "The people want to be free from the misgovernance of the DMK."
The people of Tamil Nadu are eager for the BJP-led NDA government to come to power. Our leaders fought for the rights of devotees in the controversy surrounding the Karthigai Deepam lighting at the Murugan temple, but the DMK abandoned the devotees for political gain.
Central government's efforts for Kerala's development
Along with Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited Kerala on Friday. During his visit, he inaugurated various development projects and flagged off three Amrit Bharat Express trains as well as the Thrissur-Guruvayur passenger train. Modi said that the people are fully aware of the central government's efforts for the development of Kerala. He also performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the CSIR-NIIST Hub project.
