Modi Gets Written Support From Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu: In a resolution passed by NDA leaders in Delhi, NDA leaders including JDU's Nitish Kumar and TDP's Chandrababu Naidu unanimously chose Narendra Modi as their leader. According to ANI news agency quoting sources, NDA allies will meet President Draupadi Murmu after the meeting with NDA MPs on June 7.
Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda will discuss government formation with allies, sources said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met President Draupadi Murmu and resigned from his cabinet along with his cabinet. A statement issued by the President's Office said that the President has accepted the resignation and requested Narendra Modi and the Cabinet to continue till the new government comes to power.
