Nagaland assembly elections, BJP manifesto released

Kohima. BJP President JP Nadda reached Kohima ahead of the assembly elections to be held in Nagaland on February 27. Here BJP's national president released the party's manifesto in view of the assembly elections.
During this, Nadda said that five years ago the North East used to face blockades, militancy, targeted attacks etc., but today Nagaland has again come on the path of peace, prosperity and development. Nagaland has been a story of growth. In the last eight years, insurgency has come down by 80% and AFSPA has been removed from 66% of the areas.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers the North Eastern states as 'Ashta Lakshmi', they have peace, electricity, tourism, 5G signal, culture, natural-farming and sports along with other potentials on the basis of development.
