Nagpur and Amravati district's guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule appealed to the citizens to pay attention to regular health check-up, balanced diet, cleanliness and exercise. Shri Mahalakshmi Jagadamba Sansthan, District Mineral Establishment, Nagpur, jointly present with the Government of Maharashtra, used to speak at the inauguration of the Maha Arogya free camp organized at Mauda Talukyat Khat. At this time, former MLA Tekchand Savarkar, former District Council President Nisha Savarkar and various dignitaries would have been present. A total of 4687 patients were examined during the camp. Of those, free spectacles were distributed to 756 patients.

The work of providing health facilities to the common people has been started with the help of various government schemes as well as funds through Shri Mahalakshmi Jagdamba Institute, Koradi. Blood pressure, blood sugar and other pathology tests were given free of charge to all the patients registered at the camp. All types of pre-cancer and cancer screening, special breast and uterine cancer for women, free dental check-up were also done. 24 suspected cancer patients or were found hospitalized. First aid for dental and oral diseases is provided at the camps in the latest mobile dental van. Medicines were distributed free of cost to the patients.
