Now Aadhaar update can be done for free for three more months

New Delhi. If you have not been able to update your Aadhaar details yet, then there is good news for you, because the government has extended the deadline for updating Aadhaar for free. Let us tell you that till now the date for changing Aadhaar details for free was June 14, 2024.

According to the website of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the deadline for updating Aadhaar for free has been extended for 3 months, now people can update Aadhaar details for free till September 14, 2024.

Now there will be no charge of Rs 50 till September 30
If you want to update home address, phone number, and email ID, then no charge will be taken for this till September 30. Now all these details can be updated online for free. On the other hand, if you go to Aadhaar Common Service Center to do the same work, then you will have to spend Rs 50 for this. On the other hand, if you want to update information like photo, biometric and iris in the Aadhaar card, then this work cannot be done online. For this, you will have to go to the Aadhaar center and pay the update charge.
