Order to investigate the controversial question of NEET

Supreme Court said- IIT Delhi director should form an expert panel; submit the report by 12 noon tomorrow
NEET: After hearing the NEET case, the Supreme Court ordered an investigation into the question number 19 of Physics exam which had 2 correct options. The court said that by giving 2 correct options, 44 students got bonus marks and 4.2 lakh candidates have suffered. Take the opinion of experts from IIT Delhi on this.
The court ordered that the director of IIT Delhi should form a 3-member expert committee to investigate the question with 2 answers. The expert team should choose one correct option from them and send its opinion to the Registrar by 12 noon on Tuesday, 23 July.
Apart from this, the CJI has asked the petitioners to email a written submission of half a page in favor of NEET UG retest by today i.e. Monday evening.
The hearing on more than 40 petitions in the Supreme Court in the case of NEET irregularities ended before the bench of CJI DY Chandrachud. This was the fourth hearing. The next hearing will be tomorrow i.e. Tuesday.
Sanjay Hegde, Mathews Nedumpara along with senior advocate Narendra Hooda presented their side on behalf of the petitioners, while Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta presented his side on behalf of NTA and the Center.
