
PGRS system to be implemented soon in Chief Minister's Secretariat for action on public applications
Nagpur, 20: Public Grievances Redressal System (PGRS) online system will be implemented soon to take positive action on public applications and representations received at various programs as well as at the Chief Minister's Secretariat-Hyderabad House in Civil Lines area and to inform the applicant about the current status of the application through SMS. A meeting was held in this regard at the Chief Minister's Secretariat today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The state government has a policy of providing immediate relief to the public by using technology in government work. Accordingly, during Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' visit to Nagpur and at the Chief Minister's Secretariat here, the PGRS online system has been developed to send representations, applications and complaints related to various departments and subjects to the concerned department and take appropriate action on them. Asha Pathan, Special Officer of the Chief Minister's Secretariat, gave a detailed presentation about this online system.
The representations and applications received through this online system will be classified department-wise and complaint-wise. These applications and representations will be scanned and sent to the concerned department for necessary action and the applicant will be informed about it through SMS. The applicant will be informed about the disposal of the applicant's application through SMS after following up with the concerned department. Chief Minister Shri. Fadnavis expressed satisfaction with this online system. Soon this facility will be introduced in the service of the public.
The meeting was attended by Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidri, Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Singal, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary, Nagpur Improvement Trust Chairman Sanjay Mina, District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, Mahametro Managing Director Shravan Hardikar along with heads of departments like Public Works, Land Records, Social Welfare etc.
