People from suburban talukas should avoid coming to Nagpur - Ravindra Thackeray

Nagpur dt. 14 - District Collector Ravindra Thackeray has also appealed to the citizens of the suburban talukas to cooperate in the lockdown starting from tomorrow. Villages like Hingana, Sonegaon, Koradi, Kalamana, Hudkeshwar etc. within the boundaries of old and new police stations in Kamathi city near Nagpur were included. Curfew will be maintained in this entire area. Therefore, it has been clarified that one should not try to enter Nagpur city from rural areas for seven days from tomorrow. Shops in rural areas have been instructed to close from 6 pm. During the lockdown, there will be a curfew in the areas within the limits of Nagpur Metropolitan and Nagpur Police Commissioner's Office. However, if there is a steady increase in corona patients in rural areas, a curfew may be considered here as well. He also clarified that citizens of rural areas should not leave their homes and enter Nagpur city without any reason.
In the closure from tomorrow, all traders, shopkeepers and traders involved in various small and large industries are urged to cooperate in the wider public interest lockdown.
All industries will continue in lockdown. However, all the concerned establishments are required to keep the identity card of their employees with them. While it has been decided to keep private offices closed, 25 per cent attendance in government offices has been made mandatory. However, in private and government establishments where critical work will start in the last period of the financial year, March 31, limited presence of required staff is allowed. Medical, paramedical and emergency services will continue. Representatives and employees working for the media will be required to carry an identity card.
Liquor stores will be closed during this period. However, online liquor sales are allowed. Home delivery of food will continue. For this, employees working in this field will be required to carry an identity card. Covid vaccination of seniors is underway at 128 centers in urban and rural areas. The vaccination campaign will continue during this period. However, the administration appealed to the people's representatives and NGOs to come forward during this period to reach out to the seniors at the vaccination center.
Essential Services Banks, Post, Medical Stores, Government and Private Hospitals, Eye Hospitals, Spectacles will be open. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, milk, eggs, etc. will continue. However, it has been decided that the citizens should stay at home in the morning after fulfilling their urgent needs. It has also been appealed to the citizens to plan in such a way that they will not have to go out of the house for the next seven days.
