
Pooja Khedkar will have to appear before Delhi Crime Branch, Supreme Court orders
New Delhi:- The Supreme Court has directed Pooja Khedkar to appear before the Delhi Crime Branch on May 2 at 10.30 am. The next hearing in the Supreme Court will be on May 21. As long as he cooperates with the investigation, he will remain safe from arrest. The court said that no concrete investigation has been conducted against Pooja Khedkar so far.
The Supreme Court has raised the question why Pooja Khedkar was not called for questioning. We want to take him into custody and interrogate him. I don't want to be called for general questioning. However, the Delhi Police argued that Khedkar was exempt from arrest.
Delhi Police has demanded custody of Pooja Khedkar. However, Pooja Khedkar's lawyers have argued that there is no need for custodial interrogation. The lawyers were also told that Pooja Khedkar would join the interrogation and cooperate.
In the hearing held on April 15, the court said that Pooja Khedkar cannot be arrested. After this, the court fixed the date of hearing in Pooja Khedkar case today i.e. April 21. In the last hearing, the lawyers of UPSC argued that Pooja Khedkar has committed a big scam and needs to be taken into custody and investigated. However, Pooja Khedkar's lawyer opposed the custody order saying that they are ready to cooperate with the investigation.

February 14, 2025: Supreme Court grants immunity from arrest to Pooja Khedkar till March 17, 2025. He also directed Pooja Khedkar to cooperate in the investigation.
