Prime Minister Modi is on his Maharashtra tour today and will visit Palghar along with Mumbai. Prime Minister Modi will address the 'Global FinTech Fest 2024' at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai today at 11 am. After that, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Rs 76,000 Crore Port Project between 1.30 and 2 pm. Along with this, Modi will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones of various development projects at CIDCO grounds in Palghar.
Strong police presence
On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi's visit, a large police presence is seen everywhere. Around 5 thousand police personnel have been deployed for this purpose. Along with that, preparations for this program are going on. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis and many prominent leaders of the state will be present on this occasion.
Major changes in transportation
In the wake of this tour, major changes have been made in the traffic in Palghar along with Thane. Many important persons are likely to come from Mumbai Ahmedabad highway on the occasion of this visit. Therefore, to avoid traffic congestion on this highway, Thane city traffic department has changed the traffic route. All heavy vehicles going to Gujarat from Mumbai-Thane-Kalwa Mumbra in Bhiwandi via Kasheli in Narpoli have been closed at Kasheli. All the big vehicles going from Nashik to Gujarat will have 'entry closed' at Vadpe Naka.

Prime Minister will address a special session of Global FinTech Fest (GFF) 2024 during his visit to Mumbai. The GFF is jointly organized by Payments Council of India, National Payments Corporation of India and FinTech Convergence. Around 800 speakers from various policymakers, regulators, senior banking experts, industry leaders and academics from across the country as well as across the world will address more than 350 sessions at the conference. The discussion will also showcase the latest innovations in the fintech landscape. GFF 2024 will feature more than 20 reports and white papers from thought leaders with deep industry insights and insights.
