Mohali: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali. CM Mann had a stomach infection and has also been suffering from fever for two days. Till now he was resting at home but when his health deteriorated, the doctors advised him to be admitted to the hospital.

Kejriwal had met CM
Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal met CM Mann on Thursday and inquired about his health. Kejriwal met Mann at the official residence of the Chief Minister of Punjab. After this, the National Convenor of AAP visited Sultanpur Lodhi, a flood-affected area in Kapurthala district and took stock of the relief work being carried out in the state. During this, he also talked to the affected people.
Punjab is facing severe floods

Due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, Sutlej, Beas and Ravi rivers and drains are in spate, which has created a flood situation. Heavy rains in Punjab have made the situation more serious, which has increased the problems of the affected people. Officials said that so far 43 people have died due to floods and more than 3.55 lakh people have been affected. Crops of about 1.75 lakh hectares area have been destroyed.
