Rahul Pandey appointed as Chief Information Commissioner of Maharashtra

Mumbai, Dec. 27- Rahul Pandey has been appointed as the Chief Information Commissioner of Maharashtra.
Pandey has a long experience in English journalism. Earlier, he worked as the State Information Commissioner. During this time, he resolved many cases. Therefore, the government appointed him as the Chief State Commissioner. This is the first opportunity that Nagpur and Vidarbha have got in the form of Pandey. This selection was made by a committee headed by the Governor.
In addition, Nagpur Tarun Bharat editor Gajanan Nimdev, former civil servant Ravindra Thackeray, and Prakash Indalkar were selected as the State Information Commissioners. This selection will be for a period of three years.
