Raid in Gondwana Pimpri, counterfeit liquor factory busted ?? 1,090 liters of counterfeit country liquor blend seized
Nagpur, Dated 14: Under the guidance of Divisional Deputy Commissioner Ganesh Patil and District Superintendent Suraj Kumar Ramod of the State Excise Department, Nagpur division, a divisional flying squad recently raided bungalow number 133 in My Town Society, Sector-8, Gondwana Pimpri, Hingna, and shut down a factory producing counterfeit country and foreign liquor. From the spot, a total of goods worth Rs. 24,67,704 were seized, including 1,090 liters of counterfeit country liquor blend, 356 bottles of Goa Whiskey (prohibited for sale in Maharashtra), 90 BL of counterfeit country liquor, an electronic bottle sealing machine, paper labels for counterfeit Rocket brand country liquor, bottle caps, empty bottles, plastic caps for counterfeit Royal Stag foreign liquor, and a four-wheeler vehicle.
A case has been registered under crime number 19/2026 against the accused Shubham Govind Tiwari (31 years old, absconding main accused), Govind Ramdutt Tiwari (59 years old), Shailendra Dhurve (24 years old), Raghunath Uike (21 years old), Rajkumar Uike (25 years old), Dwarka Shivlal Inwati (45 years old), and Pramod Nathuji Sayam (42 years old).
This operation was carried out by Divisional Flying Squad Inspector Dashrath Kshirsagar, Sub-Inspectors Jagdish Pawar, Lambade, Inspector Balaji Chalnewar, Sub-Inspectors Vaibhav Diwan, Amit Kshirsagar, and Shubham Dhoke. Constables Rahul Sapkal, Gajanan Rathod, Sudhir Mankar, Kiran Vaidya, Sachin Adole, and Vinod Dumbre successfully executed the operation. The further investigation of this crime is being conducted by Sub-Inspector Jagdish Pawar of the Divisional Flying Squad, Nagpur.
