Rajinikanth Expresses Fear of Public Speaking at 'Dharman' Movie Event

Nashik/Mumbai, June 25, 2026: South Indian superstar Rajinikanth expressed an unexpected concern during the promotional event for his upcoming film, 'Dharman'. "If I speak, controversies arise and rumors are spread... I feel afraid to speak now," he said, taking an indirect dig at critics and trolls.
Rajinikanth's friend and co-star Kamal Haasan was also present at the event. Rajinikanth said, "I feel a bit apprehensive when invited to speak at an event. That is because if I speak, it sparks a controversy. It creates difficulties for me as well as for others. People start spreading various speculations and rumors. If I don't speak, I am asked why I didn't; if I do speak, people ask why I chose that moment to speak."
Rajinikanth further noted the importance of understanding that those who dislike you won't appreciate anything you do, whereas those who like you will appreciate you regardless of your actions.
The official title and first poster of the film 'Dharman' were also unveiled at the event. Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, the film will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. This marks Rajinikanth's 173rd film.
