Nagpur, Date 04: The grand Shaheed Samagam program to be held on December 7 at Nara on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Hind Ki Chadar Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, expressed the belief that the people of Nagpur and all the devotees coming here will create an ideal standard of service-dedication and devotion. At the pre-preparation review meeting of this ceremony at the District Planning Hall, he made an appeal by highlighting the responsibilities of all the committees.
We have expected the number of devotees coming here to be around 5 lakh. Around 26 committees such as the district administration, various departments and heads of departments of the government, the municipal corporation, the health department are fulfilling the responsibilities assigned to them on a war footing. The Sikh community, including Sindhis, Sikalgars, Banjaras, Labanas, Mohyals, and the devotees and office bearers of Sant Namdev Maharaj are contributing to this with all their might. With the spirit of service, every person has proven themselves for langar service in their own way. With the participation of everyone, this gathering will be a guide for the state, said Rameshwar Naik, the state coordinator of this event.
Managing lakhs of devotees is challenging. This has been planned at every level. From transportation to health facilities, care has been taken. The organizing committee has appealed to everyone to exercise self-discipline and vigilance. Sunil Maharaj, Jitendra Maharaj from Pohradevi, Co-Chairman of the Regional Committee Paramjit Singh Bhatti, Secretary Pritpal Singh Bhatia, office bearers of Sindhi community, Malkit Singh Bal, Kuku Marwa, Gajendra Singh and senior office bearers were present in this meeting.
