Separate Policy for Single Women; Call for Suggestions and Feedback

Nagpur, 20th: The State Government is formulating a dedicated policy for the holistic empowerment of single women in the state—including widows, divorced women, those abandoned by their husbands, unmarried women, and others. Suggestions and feedback for the creation of this policy are being invited from citizens, voluntary organizations, women's groups, social activists, scholars, researchers, and subject-matter experts across the state.
To ensure the policy is comprehensive, people-oriented, and effective, the government has appealed to all stakeholders to participate actively. When submitting feedback, instead of sending brief opinions, stakeholders are requested to submit detailed proposals covering the background of the subject, proposed measures, potential beneficiaries, an implementation framework, and expected outcomes. This will help in crafting a policy that is highly effective and tailored to the specific needs of single women.
This policy will play a crucial role in empowering single women across various sectors, including social security, financial independence, employment, education, healthcare, housing, and legal protection. Interested citizens should send their feedback to the government's official WhatsApp number: 8208589195. All suggestions and feedback received will be taken into consideration while drafting the single women's policy.
An appeal has been made to all citizens, women's organizations, voluntary organizations, social activists, and subject-matter experts to participate in this significant initiative and cooperate with the government.
