Ajit Pawar changed his campaign track in Baramati after Sharad Pawar hinted his retirement
Sharad Pawar Interview: The state's focus is on Baramati in the assembly elections. A few days ago, Sharad Pawar had indicated his retirement. Ajit Pawar then changed the campaign track in Baramati. Who will do your work after your retirement? Ajit Pawar is campaigning like this. So Sharad Pawar has given an explanation in this regard. Umesh Kumawat, managing editor of 'TV 9 Marathi', conducted an interview. At that time Sharad Pawar said about retirement planning.
What did Sharad Pawar say?
Ten years ago I said that I will not contest direct elections anymore. I have not stood for direct election since 2014. Now I am a member of Rajya Sabha. In fact, people have stopped contesting elections. I contested the first election in 1967. I am 56 years old. Now I want to do party work. Direct election of the people in Parliament is another way. Can work accordingly. I am in the Rajya Sabha. I did not have to contest direct election for that. So where is retirement? But the election does not want to stand.
Our ideology is different
Everyone has the right to work anywhere. That part should be improved. If someone comes forward to work, there is no work to complain about. But if the ideology was different… we were fighting someone. It is a fraud that Ajit Pawar contested the election against them and sat on their side. We have no association with the people with whom they went. Because our ideology is different.
