Significant increase in the number of corona patients in the countries, caution is necessary!

Mumbai: There is a significant increase in the number of corona patients in countries like China, Japan, America, Korea. In this background, the state health minister recently held a meeting with the task force and directed all the districts to control the infection. It has been asked to emphasize mainly on the triads of Test, Track and Treat. Corona patients are asked to implement detection, diagnosis, treatment including vaccination and covid-compliant behavior. Every District / Municipal Corporation should increase the number of tests. The task force has also suggested that RTPCR should be increased in trials as well. Every RTPCR infected sample (CT value less than 30) should be sent for genetic sequencing. Seven laboratories are functioning in the state for this purpose. About this genetic sequencing, scientist at NIV Pune Dr. Varsha Potdar addressed the meeting. Sanjay Khandare, Principal Secretary, Health Department, said that appropriate decision will be taken regarding the screening of international travelers in coordination with the Central Government.
