Supriya Sule, Rohit Pawar named in Jayakumar Gore blackmail case; CM Devendra Fadnavis's revelation

CM Devendra Fadnavis: The police have arrested a woman who accused state Rural Development Minister Jayakumar Gore of molestation on extortion charges. The woman was caught red-handed while accepting a ransom of Rs 1 crore. The case also had repercussions in the Legislative Assembly. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made a serious allegation that NCP Sharad Pawar group MP Supriya Sule and MLA Rohit Pawar were involved in the case. The Chief Minister clarified that an investigation will be conducted into this.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, "The incident regarding Minister Jayakumar Gore is unfortunate. If politics is being done with the aim of raising someone from life, it is wrong. The case regarding him happened in 2016, he was also acquitted in 2019. After that, the case was suddenly dropped."
"In such cases, attempts are made to settle the matter for fear of humiliation in the family and society. However, I appreciate the courage of Jayakumar Gore. When he was asked for a bribe, he complained to the police. Then a trap was laid. All the demands and conversations were taped. After the police department was convinced, the accused was caught while giving the cash by setting a trap. Therefore, this was a form of blackmail, the Chief Minister said in the Legislative Assembly.
Accused Supriya Sule in contact with Rohit Pawar
The police investigation revealed that this was a nexus. It was found that this woman, YouTuber Tushar Kharat and some people including Anil Subhedar were in contact. All the evidence of the conspiracy hatched by these people has been found. They have many phones, all of them have been found. Unfortunately, the leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party Sharad Pawar group are seen in direct contact with all of them. The accused was talking to Prabhakarrao Deshmukh. It seems even worse that the calls of Supriya Sule and Rohit Pawar Tushar Kharat has been arrested. Also, the videos made by the accused have been sent to him. Now this will be investigated, Devendra Fadnavis also said.
