System ready to curb cyber crime- - Devendra Fadnavis - Garud Drishti tools activated

Nagpur, 10th:- We are the first to see riots break out due to some anti-social people inciting communal hatred through social media. Maharashtra now has the best system and technology in the world to curb such crimes. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asserted that 'Garud Drishti' tools are playing an important role in catching such people and taking immediate action against them.
He was speaking at a presentation on the 'Garud Drishti' social media monitoring and cyber intelligence project by the Nagpur Police Department at Police Bhavan and at the distribution ceremony of Rs 10 crores received from the investigation of various cyber financial crimes. These amounts were distributed to the concerned persons who were cheated. Police Commissioner Ravindra Kumar Singal, Joint Commissioner of Police Naveen Chandra Reddy, Additional Commissioner of Police Sarvashree Vasant Pardeshi, Rajendra Dabhade, Shivaji Rathod and senior police officers were present on this occasion.
Although the use of social media as a platform to express one's views is good, we see some anti-social tendencies using this platform to spread hatred, threats, hate speech, fake news, and drug trafficking. Most of these financial fraud platforms are run by foreign operators. Therefore, everyone should be careful. People should keep in mind that any kind of offers coming on their mobiles are a trap for financial fraud. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis appealed to citizens to contact 1930 and 1945 as soon as possible if they realize that they have been financially cheated.
The 'Garud Drishti' system has been developed to prevent fraud incidents through social media. Through this system, it will be possible to detect and track criminal activities on these platforms. He said that these tools will be expanded and enhanced in the future.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated the people who received their money today. Commissioner of Police Ravindra Kumar Singal made the introduction.
