The Governor said, he will be trained as an excellent administrator or perfected by his team. This is an important stage in the career of training officers and the National Tax Academy plays an important role in shaping their personality. It is the duty of the officers to collect taxes by treating the taxpayers appropriately. Performing one's duty does not align with ideal values, following morality and ethics or providing justice as per the standards, he made such appeals.
National Academy of Direct Taxes, following its glorious tradition, has trained more and more trainees. This year's 78th contingent is being trained, this is arrogant. National Academy of Direct Taxes i.e. National Academy of Direct Taxes is the highest training institute for Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officers of the Central Government. IRS officers are recruited through the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Central Public Service Commission UPSC. Directly recruited officers undergo pre-service training for 16 months at NADT, Nagpur before being posted in the regional offices.
145 officer trainees
In the new batch of 78th contingent, there are 145 officer trainees including 2 officers of Royal Bhutan Service. The training provides the necessary knowledge, skills and mindset to effectively contribute to national development. The training method of induction training is based on the developed India or Sankalp Navara concept. The focus is on enhancing the culture of excellence, accountability and innovation among the officers. The program comprises a combination of class sessions, exercises, case studies and interactive discussions covering diverse aspects of tax administration, leadership and public service.
