Bharat Ratna Dr. Inauguration of Babasaheb Ambedkar Tour Circuit
Nagpur 26: On the occasion of Constitution Day, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis today honored Dr. Bharat Ratna of Maharashtra. Babasaheb Ambedkar tour circuit launched. This is the beginning of tourism to important places in the life of Dr. Babasaheb. Tourism of four places in Nagpur district will be started soon for followers.
A program in this regard was organized at Dikshabhumi through Directorate of Tourism of State Government and District Administration Nagpur. The main event at the state level was held at the Fine Art Society, Chembur. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, Skill Development Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha participated from that place. MLA Praveen Datke participated in the inauguration under the chairmanship of Bhadant Surai Sasai. Apart from this, well-known literary poet Dnyaneshwar Vakudkar, His Holiness Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Committee Secretary Sudhir Phulzele, Vilas Gajghate, Pradeep Agalave, NR Sote etc. participated. This magnificent program was organized by setting up a pavilion near the stupa at Dikshabhumi.
In the district, Dikshabhumi in Nagpur city, Shantivan in Chincholi, Dragon Palace in Kamthi and Naglok Institute of Buddhism in Kamthi area have been included for tourism. The schedule in this regard will be announced soon through the Directorate of Tourism and this facility will be made available by the Tourism Department through the State Government for the followers of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, scholars and tourists at a very modest rate.
