Traffic Suspended on Mumbai-Pune Highway Due to Maintenance Work; Plan Your Journey Accordingly
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced that a temporary 'Mega Block' (complete traffic shutdown) will be implemented on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on April 23 and 24. During this period, traffic will be completely suspended for several hours.
This work is being undertaken to facilitate the removal of shuttering and painting operations on a bridge located in the Dongargaon–Kusgaon area of ??the highway. Consequently, restrictions will be imposed on traffic movement.

All traffic heading towards Mumbai will be completely suspended between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
???? April 24 (Traffic Heading Towards Pune):
Traffic heading towards Pune will be suspended between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Travelers are advised to utilize the following alternate routes while traffic remains suspended:
Vehicles Heading Towards Mumbai:
Proceed via Kiwale – Dehuroad – Talegaon using National Highway 48 (NH-48), and then re-enter the Expressway at the Kusgaon Toll Plaza.
Vehicles Heading Towards Pune:
Divert from the Kusgaon Toll Plaza onto NH-48, and proceed towards Pune via Dehuroad – Kiwale.
