Two-Day SIR Registration Camp for Journalists Begins

Nagpur, August 6: A two-day SIR registration camp, organized at the Press Club to facilitate the SIR registration process for journalists and their families, kicked off today with great enthusiasm. This initiative provides journalists with the convenience of accessing essential government services at a single location.
Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vipin Itankar, Press Club President Pradeepkumar Maitra, Corporator Sunil Hiranwar, Corporator Dhanashree Deshpande, Pooja Pathak, and local Booth Level Officers (BLOs) were present at the camp's inauguration. While extending their best wishes, Dr. Itankar and Pradeepkumar Maitra emphasized that the SIR initiative is of national importance. They stated that the active participation of government machinery, public representatives, journalists, and citizens is crucial for its successful implementation. They expressed confidence that the SIR registration targets for Nagpur city would certainly be achieved through collective effort.
It was announced that the registration camp would continue at the Press Club on August 6 and 7, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Corporators Sunil Hiranwar and Dhanashree Deshpande urged anyone facing difficulties during the SIR registration process to contact them immediately and assured that any issues would be promptly resolved. Senior journalist Bhupendra Ganveer anchored the event and proposed the vote of thanks. Also present on the occasion were Anupam Soni (General Secretary, Nagpur Shramik Patrakar Sangh), Paritosh Pramanik, Sunny Shende, Ranjit Deshmukh, Mahesh Updev, Sunil Mitra, Arun Asatkar, and others.
