Village goons attacked a Dalit settlement and burnt 80 houses

Nawada:-Village goons attacked a Dalit settlement in Bihar's Nawada district. They fired 50 rounds in this area. In Krishnanagar village under Mufassil police station, goons set fire to 80 houses in a Dalit settlement. Now new information has come to light in this case. The police have said that this happened due to a land dispute. Both parties are claiming the land as theirs. But it has come to light that this land belongs to the Bihar government. Currently, the police have arrested 10 people including the main accused. The arrest of other accused is going on. Police are conducting further investigation into the matter.

Attack of more than 100 people

According to the information provided by the villagers, more than 100 village goons suddenly entered the Dalit settlement. They suddenly shot. So the people of this area got scared. The goons fired around 50 rounds. To save themselves, the people of the settlement took refuge in a safe place. Then the goons set fire to this settlement. Officials reached the spot on getting information about the incident. The Superintendent of Police immediately rushed.
Action taken immediately

Realizing the seriousness of the case, the police immediately detained ten accused. It was the citizens of the village who identified the accused. According to the information given by DM Ashutosh Kumara, this village is located on the banks of the river. We have seen this area. 30 houses have been burnt in this place. He informed that further investigation is going on in this matter.

The main accused was arrested

Nawad Superintendent of Police Abhinav Dhiman informed about this incident. Accordingly, the incident took place on Wednesday evening. It is revealed that 40 to 50 houses were set on fire. No one was injured or killed in this incident. The goons fired in the air. After receiving information about the incident, the police arrested 10 people including the main accused. Other accused have been identified with the help of villagers. Their arrest is going on.

This has happened due to land dispute. Both parties have been claiming possession of this land for many years. This incident has happened. He clarified that till there is no peace, the police will remain here. Bihar Government's Scheduled Castes and Tribes Department Minister Janak Ram has clarified that strict action will be taken against the accused.
