Voters Urged to Submit Enumeration Forms Before August 17

Nagpur, August 5: Work regarding the distribution, collection, and digitization of enumeration forms is currently underway for voters in the South-West Nagpur Assembly constituency as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) program for electoral rolls; the deadline for completing this process is August 17, 2026. Voters are therefore urged to accurately fill out the enumeration forms and submit them immediately, along with the necessary documents, to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
Voters who have received the enumeration forms should fill in the required information accurately, sign the form, and submit it to the concerned BLO along with the necessary documents. Those who have not yet received the form or face difficulties in filling it out should contact their respective BLO.
Special camps are being organized in various areas as part of the Special Intensive Revision program. Pending forms are being collected through door-to-door visits, coordinated by BLOs and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of political parties. The 52-Nagpur South-West Assembly constituency comprises 378 polling stations with 378 active BLOs. Additionally, there are 35 BLO supervisors and 18 Assistant Electoral Registration Officers. The constituency has a total of 4,12,341 voters. As per data from August 5, 2026, BLOs had distributed 3,62,501 (87.91%) enumeration forms. Of these, the digitization of 2,22,861 (54.05%) forms had been completed. A total of 76,795 (18.62%) voters have been identified as absent, migrated, deceased, or having duplicate registrations.
According to the schedule originally set by the Commission, the deadline was August 8; however, under the revised schedule, this date has now been extended to August 17, 2026. Accurate information regarding voters who are absent, have migrated, are deceased, or have duplicate registrations should be made available to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). Voters should verify that their name, address, photograph, and other details are correct. Sachin Kumawat, the Electoral Registration Officer and Sub-Divisional Officer (Nagpur City), has appealed to those who have not yet filled out the enumeration form (EF Form) to contact their respective BLOs and submit the form before August 17—without waiting for the deadline—thereby cooperating with the administration in this task of national importance.
