While a series of accidents continues across Maharashtra, a horrific triple-vehicle collision occurred early Monday morning in the Laling Ghat area of ??Dhule, resulting in the spot death of five individuals and serious injuries to 28 others.
According to reports, a violent collision took place in Laling Ghat involving two sand-laden trucks and a private passenger bus. The accident was so severe that all three vehicles sustained extensive damage.
Accident Details:
Fatalities: 5 (One of the deceased has been identified as Manoj Prakash Narwhal, a truck driver from Malegaon.)
Injured: 28 (All have been admitted to the Bhausaheb Hire Medical Hospital.)
Condition of the Injured: Doctors have stated that the condition of all patients is currently stable.
Following the accident, 33 individuals were transported from the scene to the hospital; however, five of them succumbed to their injuries before reaching the medical facility. Authorities are currently working rapidly to identify the remaining four deceased individuals.
The police administration has taken cognizance of the incident and has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Preliminary information suggests that excessive speed or a violation of traffic regulations may have been the contributing factors.
