Whose meeting was held in Kathmandu? Devendra Fadnavis' biggest claim on Naxalism

Kathmandu:-"A meeting was held in Kathmandu on November 15, 2024, in which some people from Bharat Jodo attended. I have the entire report there. This is happening in Kathmandu. Not only that, I will take you to the past. Some 180 organizations of this Bharat Jodo held programs and published pamphlets as Bharat Jodo during the election period", said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented his position on Naxalism in the Legislative Assembly today. This time he made a big claim in the House. "We have declared war against Naxalism, what do Naxalists do? We Naxalists do not believe in the Constitution of India. We do not believe in the democracy created by India. We do not believe in any institution created by the Indian Constitution. Therefore, we want to create a parallel state. When a big battle started in the country against this Naxalism, a large number of Naxalites started dying out, new recruitment started decreasing, at that time, whatever Naxalism is, started to be found in the cities, and then the same thoughts of anarchy, this was planted in our children”, Devendra Fadnavis made a big claim.
“Especially, we have all gone through it, from our sixteenth or seventeenth year to the age of 27 to 28, this age is in a way such that a person rejects everything. Because it is not understood. Therefore, everyone has this kind of mentality that there should be a revolution in anything. Their revolutionary paths are different, but to capture this class and instill anarchy in it, frontal organizations were formed for that, the popular name of that frontal organization, we did not give that popular name, so I brought the documents of 2012, during that time its popular name became Urban Naxalism”, said Devendra Fadnavis.
What is Devendra Fadnavis’ claim about Urban Naxalism?
“What is Urban Naxalism, to take the name of the country’s constitution, but to create doubt in the minds of the people about every institution created by the country’s constitution, such as the court, RBI, Election Commission, so that people’s trust should be lost, people should feel that every institution in this country is not autonomous, when that happens, what will happen that people will revolt. What will they do by revolting? They will break the constitution given by Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and bring a state of anarchy here. This is an attempt”, made a big claim, Devendra Fadnavis.
Whose meeting was held in Kathmandu?
“So on November 15, 2024, a meeting was held in Kathmandu, some people from Bharat Jodo went to it. I have the entire report there. This is happening in Kathmandu. Not only that, I will take you to the past. Of the 180 organizations of this Bharat Jodo, they held programs and published pamphlets as Bharat Jodo during the election period, about 40 of them are organizations that have been named as frontal organizations. I did not do that. In 2012, the late Girish Bapat had asked a question, at that time R. R. Patil was the Home Minister of the state”, said Devendra Fadnavis.
“There was a question about the training of Naxalites in Pune district, Bala Nandgaonkar had also expressed his position on it. While answering this, R. R. The frontal organization that Patil has mentioned as urban Naxals includes some organizations of the Bharat Jodo movement or those who worked for you in the Lok Sabha by publishing pamphlets. Gopal Shetty had raised a question in the Assembly in 2013, at that time the Home Department prepared a list of 48 organizations. It is not from our time but from the time of R. R. Patil. There are about 20 organizations working in the state, especially in Vidarbha. They all have their names,” Devendra Fadnavis made a big claim.
