Women journalists felicitated on the occasion of International Women's Day
Nagpur: Date 6. On behalf of Tilak Patrakar Bhavan Trust and in association with Nagpur Shramik Patrakar Sangh and Nagpur Press Club, women journalists will be felicitated on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8 at the conference hall of Press Club, Civil Lines.
Every year in this program, the Stree Gaurav award is given to a senior social worker who has spent her life in the social field. Journalist wives are also honored. In addition, the Woman Journalist of the Year award is given in memory of Mrs. Shobha Vinod, the late wife of senior editor S.N. Vinod. The program is being held on March 8 at 5 pm at the conference hall of Press Club, Civil Lines.
This year, the awardees are as follows.
Stree Gaurav Award - Mrs. Chhaya Khobragade, Mrs. Shobha Vinod Memorial Award - Ankita Deshkar (The Indian Express), among women journalists, Bhagyashree Sharma (Lokmat Samachar), Ashwini Marolkar-Pachkhede (Sakal), Bhagyashree Raut (BBC) and Devashree Bhimte (UCN) and in the category of journalist's wife, Pallavi Kewal Jeevantare has been selected.
On this occasion, Pradeep Kumar Maitra, President of Press Club and Tilak Patrakar Bhawan Trust, Shirish Borkar, General Secretary of Tilak Patrakar Bhawan Trust and Treasurer of Nagpur Press Club, Brahmashankar Tripathi, President of Nagpur Shramik Patrakar Sanghatana and Secretary of Nagpur Press Club, Joseph Rao and Varsha Basu of Tilak Patrakar Bhawan Trust have appealed to attend this program.
