Wrestling on Kangana's effigy: Farmers wanted to burn it but police wanted to save it

Lucknow:In UP's Hapur, the United Kisan Morcha of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lokhit) protested against BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. After the farmers took out a protest march, an attempt was made to burn the effigy of Kangana Ranaut. But the police snatched the effigy and ran away. After this, the angry farmers blocked the Delhi Lucknow road and sat on a dharna there.
There was a fierce tug-of-war between the police and the farmers over the effigy. After which two policemen snatched the effigy and ran away. Where on Wednesday, the workers of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lokhit) tried to burn the effigy of BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, but the police snatched the effigy and ran away.
National spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union Lokhit, Harish Hoon said that the comments made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on the farmers are very shameful. Today we will burn the effigy of Kangana Ranaut while taking out our Growth March but the police forcefully snatched the effigy from our vehicle and fled. Our demand is that a case be registered against the MP.
