Total placements of 413, record job offers for the second consecutive year
Patna. Students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna have received record job offers in the 12th campus placement for the second year in a row. A total of 413 students of the 2023 batch were given offers. Around 162 national and international companies participated in the placement process.
According to data shared by the institute, this year international recruiters Accenture Japan, Rakuten Japan and Denso Corporation made 23 job offers globally. This time more foreign companies have placed students than last year, which is a 130 percent increase over last year.
BTech student got a package of 85 lakhs
The average annual package of IIT Patna B.Tech students is Rs 23.09 lakh per annum (LPA). A student here has got the maximum package of 82.05 LPA. Whereas, the average package for M.Tech students is Rs 17.50 LPA while the highest package is Rs 46.38 LPA. The biggest thing is that this time out of 413 offers, 13 offers are of more than Rs 50 lakh. While 30 offers are above Rs 40 lakh.
Ashwini, Professor-in-Charge, Training and Placement Cell, IIT Patna expressed happiness over the placement of Assam students. He also wished all the placed students for a bright future.
Top companies gave employment
IIT Patna also shared the names of top companies for campus placements in an official statement. The statement said that 'Google, Oracle, Sprinklr, Atlassian, Media.Net, Aarti Industries, Samsung, Texas Instrument, Adobe, Jaguar Land Rover, EXL besides some important PSU companies like BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited) Also hired students.
