Nagpur, dt. 26: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Grameen and State Sponsored Housing Scheme for Outstanding Performance Mahawas Abhiyan-Grameen for Outstanding Performance at Divisional Level Ceremony has been organized on Monday 30th August at 12 noon in the Hall of Divisional Commissioner's Office.
Districts, Talukas and Gram Panchayats will be honored for their outstanding work under the Maha Awas Abhiyan at the hands of Divisional Commissioner Smt. Prajakta Lavangare-Verma.
Gondia district has bagged the first prize of the best district in the centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at the divisional level under Maha Awas Abhiyan Grameen. Bhandara district was selected for the second prize and Wardha district for the third prize. Goregaon, Gondia and Tiroda Panchayat Samiti in Gondia district have been declared as the first, second and third talukas in the best taluka respectively. Apart from this, Talegaon, Gondia II Korambi and Kesori villages of Arjuni Morgaon taluka of Gondia district have been selected as the best Gram Panchayats. The third prize has been selected for Jhanjhada Gram Prachayati in Wardha district.

Samantha Ward Sangh, Samudrapur, Parivartan Ward Sangh Selu, Wardha, Sarthak Ward and Saiful Ward Sangh are the best financial institutions providing loans for construction in Wardha district.
